From the 15 to the 16 June, ESIPP partners held the third transnational project meeting in Skopje, FYR of Macedonia, hosted by the Macedonian Scientific Society for Autism (MSSA). Project partners were welcomed to the University of St. Cyril & Methodius by Prof Lena Damovska (Vice Dean of Studies, Faculty of Philosophy) and Vladimir Trajkovski. This meeting, attended by 13 people from five different countries, aimed to share understanding of the project’s progress as well as to ensure its viability and success.
All attending partners spent some time working together in groups identifying the impact they had felt on themselves and their work from participating in ESIPP. Feedback from this activity was very positive with partners identifying a number of personal positive outcomes from participation in the project to date. All identified that participation in ESIPP has been beneficial.
Other issues such as training development, parent participation, dissemination, sustainability, quality assurance or preparations for the 11th Autism-Europe’s International Congress were also addressed.
Following this meeting, a parent training session was delivered in Skopje dedicated to the topic “Food and Sleep”.
